Ravi Srinivasan, born in Singapore, is a percussionist and vocalist who plays tabla and tabla tarang as well as many other percussion instruments. He performs worldwide as a soloist and as an integral part of many ensembles, records and composes for theater, film and TV. Ravi has performed with Synfonika Ibunegara, Malaysia, Berliner Philharmoniker, the National Opera of Iceland, Göttinger Symphonieorchester, Tiroler Symphonieorchester, Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, Dotschy Reinhardt, Pandit Jasraj, Pandit Vijay Shankar and many other great masters of Indian classical music. Ravi´s stage presence and sensitivity and his wide musical horizon make him an immensely versatile and creative musician. In 2022, the film „Träume sind wie wilde Tiger“, for which Ravi arranged and recorded tabla, dholak, ghatam and vocals won the German Film Music Prize. (Deutschen Filmmusikpreis)
