Hanna Grześkiewicz is a Berlin-based freelance project manager, curator, writer, and researcher. Hanna is currently the ensemble manager for Ensemble Extrakte (Berlin) and the Harmonic Space Orchestra (Berlin), co-director of The Hermes Experiment (London), as well as project manager for the World Orchestra for Peace (UNESCO Artist for Peace) and the Etihad Chamber Orchestra (Amman, Jordan). She has worked for a number of new music organisations and initiatives in Germany and the UK, and has managed many international projects, including several British Council projects during the UK-Russia Year of Music (2019). Since late 2020 she has been a board member of the Berliner Gesellschaft für Neue Musik [Berlin Society for New Music]. Hanna’s research and curatorial work focuses on the contextualisation of artistic practice in broader socio-political issues. She has recently given papers and workshops at the eavesdropping symposium (London), DICE Berlin, Maastricht University, and the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung’s Feminist Futures Festival. She has written for new music magazines Positionen and TEMPO, and has degrees from the University of Cambridge and Humboldt University in Berlin. She has additionally spoken and written on topics relating to feminism, social movements, and the political use of the arts for the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung, Analyse & Kritik and Open Democracy.
